The TAD-1212 is a stand-alone tapeless answering machine with a built-in telephone cord and battery backup. It is relatively easy to use, reliable, and compact. There are some helpful instructions printed on the bottom.

POWER: According to a wattage meter, it uses 3W power (three watts) most of the time. The ConairPhone Callkeeper TAD1212 uses a Conair U090015A12 AC adapter, which is a "Class 2 Power Supply" (2-prong, non-polarized).
