This AC adapter can supply power at 1.5, 3, 4.5, 6, 7.5, 9, and 12 volt levels. The Coby CA-969 includes six different interchangeable plugs, for connection to various electronics.
The universal adapter is black, with a red indicator light. It is similar to the Gemini AS499, though there are some differences. Like many adapters, it was manufactured in China.
There are brief instructions on the package, which are poorly worded in some parts. It lists the following plugs: 2.5x5.5mm, 2x5.5mm, 2.1x5mm, 1.5x5.5mm, 1.3x3.5mm, and 3.5mm (mini).
The Coby CA-969 is UL-listed and supplies up to 300 mA. This is less than many adaptors offer, but sufficient for numerous electronics (portable CD players, radios, amplified TV antennas, etc).
