"CIRCUIT" LED FLASHLIGHT REVIEW

This small three-LED "Circuit" brand flashlight from Greenbrier International features an aluminum exterior, unlike most inexpensive flashlights. It measures almost 3.5" long (nearly 9 cm) and just under 1" (2.5 cm) thick.

The "Circuit" is bright for a small flashlight, even on weak batteries. A rubber-coated power button is located on the end. It unscrews to reveal a plastic drum/cartridge that holds three "AAA" batteries (not included). It weighs 1.8 ounces or 51 grams, with alkaline batteries. This LED flashlight comes with a small strap (using it is optional).

It does have a couple minor problems. There are some small scratches on the aluminum. Also, a set of Sunbeam AAA batteries was difficult to remove, requiring the use of a pliers to pull out the battery cartridge. The sides of the batteries were scraped. However, a set of Rayovac batteries didn't have this problem and removed easily. So far, none of the LED lights have failed.

As of early 2011, the "Circuit" LED flashlight is available at some dollar stores for only $1 USD plus tax. It comes in a plastic and cardboard package with instructions on the back.
