These large, dark-colored deluxe head phones feature cushioned earpieces and a headband which can be adjusted. They were marketed for use with the Bentley portable television (a 5" B/W unit sold during the '80s and early '90s), but may work with other equipment as well. They were listed on a Bentley advertisement (probably from the mid or late 1980s) for ten U.S. dollars. They show up on eBay.com frequently, sometimes sold by themselves (often with an original silver-colored cardboard box) or with a TV and other products from the same brand. While big padded headphones may not be as popular as they once were, they do have some advantages. They keep out external noises better than smaller units. Also, it's obvious when you're using them (compared to "earbuds"), so people immediately know why you can't hear them.
