The Bell+Howell 7705MOHN is a small flashlight with a built-in AM/FM radio receiver and a siren. It has a dark grey and silver-colored plastic exterior and handle. The radio is controlled using two knobs on the side (volume and tuning). It has a built-in speaker, but no earphone jack. The bands cover 88-108 MHz and 540-1700 kHz, which includes extended AM. Reception is good on FM, fair on AM. Sound quality is better than expected for such a small speaker. The light can be switched on at the same time as the receiver, without compromising brightness. The flashlight is moderately bright and the siren is rather loud. The main downside of this unit is that the siren can easily be turned on by accident in the process of switching off the light. The 7705MOHN runs on three "AA" batteries. It doesn't have a jack for connecting an AC/DC power supply. The bulb can be easily replaced, using type B53 3.8V 0.3A.
