An older German Super 8 film-based movie camera, the Bauer C1M is a small black & silver colored unit. An adjustable lens barrel is mounted to the front panel and it can accept a sunshade.
The Bauer C1M has a handle and a strap on its base. The viewfinder sticks out from the side of the camera. There are various doors, controls, and indicators on the sides and top.
It may be identified by the model number and the word "Super" printed on the front, above the lens barrel. It came with a multi-language instruction manual (which includes English instructions).
