The KB101 is a PS/2 keyboard, which may be connected and used with most PCs. Like most desktop keyboards, it features arrow keys, a numeric keypad, and twelve function keys.
Apparently the model number of the AST KB-101 refers to how many keys it has. The keyboard has a straight/rectangular ENTER key. There is a fairly large AST logo in the upper-left corner.
Three indicator lights are positioned in the upper-right part of the unit. The PS/2 cord is built-in, although it may be possible to disconnect it after removing the housing.
