Model 23-134 was sold under both the Radio Shack and Archer brand names as a "Deluxe Nickel Cadmium Battery Charger". This older unit features a protective lid, a large capacity, a two-prong AC power cord, and multi-colored indicator lights.
The Deluxe Nickel Cadmium Battery Charger accepts 9V, AA, C, and D type Ni-Cd batteries. Some rows may only be used for two batteries (of the same type) at a time. Depending upon the types and quantities, it can charge up to thirteen batteries simultaneously.
According to Radio Shack's web site, the RS/Archer 23-134 requires an "AAA Charging Module" (item number 23-135) to charge the smaller "AAA" type batteries.
