This is a long, narrow film camera that takes 110 cartridges. The Ansco Slim Pix is a fairly basic unit, though it does have a built-in flash. The flash requires 2 "AAA" batteries.
This camera is made of black plastic, with a blue shutter button. The film must be advanced (and a small lever in the film compartment must move) before the shutter button can be pressed again.
An on/off switch activates the built-in flash. The dimensions of the Ansco Slim Pix are six inches long by 1.8" wide by 1.25" thick (15.5x4.6x3 cm). It weighs 3.8 oz (107 grams).
There is a red indicator light next to the flash on/off switch. A wrist strap mount is located at the other end of the camera. To open the film compartment, slide the cover to the right.
