The '96 Protege ES is a 4-door sedan with a four cylinder engine. It has front wheel drive and runs on regular gasoline. Depending on the transmission (manual/auto) and type of driving, fuel economy can range from approximately 20 to 30 miles per gallon.
The Protege was introduced for the 1990 model year and wasn't discontinued until 2003, when the last new Proteges were sold.
